The business of recruitment is brutal. You are dealing with one of the most variable of commodities: people. In The Job Centre we follow exuberant boss Jane Vincent, who owns one of the liveliest Recruitment Agency’s in Bradford, Candelisa People. Along with her straight talking team, she is tasked with finding jobs for the extraordinary characters that walk through the agency’s doors, as they work to get Yorkshire employed. In this third episode, boss Jane faces her own staffing crisis. After the surprise resignation of Phil, Jane needs to find a replacement quickly, as the extra workload is putting undue pressure on the rest of the team. With no suitable candidates available, someone from Jane’s past reappears. Could they be the solution to her problems? Meanwhile, Jane has caught another member of her team, Aga, repeatedly moaning about work on social media, leaving Jane with no option but to hold a disciplinary. Has Aga taken things a step too far? Plus, the fight for new business continues as Jane and the team look to expand into hospitality, but will they succeed?
