Cold Feet

Having ended yet another relationship, ladies' man Adam Williams goes to the pub with best friend Pete Gifford.

Jenny's time to give birth is almost at hand but she is exasperated by Pete's over-enthusiastic reaction, trying to make himself an expert on childcare and buying a phone as a child birth hotline.

Adam has moved in with Rachel but is staggered to learn that she is married. He goes to stay with Jenny and Pete but only gets in the way as the new baby is giving them sleepless nights.

Whilst playing squash David confides in Adam that his sex life is zero and asks for advice.

Returning to work, Karen is asked to edit the new novel by prize-winning author Alex Welch.

In the light of their recent temptations, Karen and David go to see a counsellor, who suggests they get their groove back by pretending that they are on a first date.

David and Karen invite the other couples to a charity dinner, where David spends the evening networking. Jenny, feeling out of place, gets drunk and sets off a fire extinguisher.
