CHEUK YUK is the president of the large investment company Brainman Group and he is elected as the alchemist of the financial sector consecutively. CHEUK YUK attends a media interview cheerfully. With the help of the two women, CHEUK YUK gets rid of the complaints from the Councilors and public successfully. CHEUK YUK believes that he will become the committee's vice president but he fails eventually and he feels that PUI-FUN has used him. PUI-FUN meets SUN-YUNG again while walking her dog. The two of them were lovers long time ago. SHEUNG-FEI loses some important information and the police carries out investigation on her. CHI NGA tries to take the blame for her and SHEUNG-FEI is very ashamed. SHEUNG-YEE believes the CHI NGA has stolen the information and she questions her but CHI NGA stands strong...

CHI NGA decides to quit her job. SUN-YUNG persuades her to stay but it doesn't work. SHEUNG-FEI feels ashamed after learning about it. MING-YU discovers that CHEUK YUK is very upset because of PUI-FUN and she wants to give PUI-FUN a lesson. MING-YU organizes a charity ball with CHI-YIN and she invites PUI-FUN to join. She bribes PUI-FUN's dance teacher secretly and asks him to take video of PUI-FUN being raped during her practice. Luckily, SUN-YUNG arrives to rescue PUI-FUN and PUI-FUN invites him to the charity ball. SUN-YUNG had dated PUI-FUN in their younger days and they almost got married. SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE learn that a company is cheating money by pyramid selling scheme. While carrying out investigation, they discover SHEUNG-HING there. The water project will damage the environment and some environmental protection groups start a protest against it. The company's representative from mainland China meets up with CHEUK YUK and reveals that CHI-YIN's name is one the supporter list of the environmental protection groups. SUN-YUNG worries that he will lose the chance to capture CHEUK YUK and he goes to CHEUK YUK's place alone. After receiving a call, CHEUK YUK and MING-YU change their plan. MING-YU meets up with the mainland China government official alone. SHEUNG-YEE is also carrying investigation but SUN-YUNG suddenly appears. SHEUNG-YEE blames SUN-YUNG for ruining her plan. SUN-YUNG, CHEUK YUK and KAM-FAT used to be in the same football team long time ago. Aiming to fulfill their old football coach's dream, CHEUK YUK invites SUN-YUNG to form a football team again and join the football match together. SUN-YUNG doesn't want SHEUNG-YEE to misunderstand him so he tries not to tell her that he is meeting up with CHEUK YUK. However, SHEUNG-YEE misconceives that SUN-YUNG is meeting up with PUI-FUN. SUN-YUNG keeps finding new evidences proving that PUI-FUN has corrupted and he doesn't know what to do. SUN-YUNG thinks over the case carefully and he finally decides to meet up with PUI-FUN. CHEUK YUK invites CHI NGA to meet up at the villa and he presses her against the sofa. CHEUK YUK finally invites CHI NGA to handle the "C Coin" project. HO-MING reports the case to SHEUNG-YEE and SHEUNG-YEE finds CHI NGA even more suspicious. Everybody in Hong Kong is investing on "C Coin" but PUI-FUN and CHEUK YUK are not supportive at all. Some ICAC officers arrive to capture PUI-FUN for investigation. SUN-YUNG finds evidence to prove that PUI-FUN is innocent and he tries to carry out further investigation in China. However, SHEUNG-YEE stops him from going for she has other important tasks for him. SUN-YUNG wants to save PUI-FUN desperately and he ignores SHEUNG-YEE's order.

SHEUNG-YEE is scolded by her supervisor for SUN-YUNG fails to carry out his duty. SUN-YUNG apologizes to SHEUNG-YEE but SHEUNG-YEE believes that SUN-YUNG values PUI-FUN more and she wants a separation. On the other hand, CHEUK YUK concentrates fully on "C Coin" project and he spends less time with MING-YU. MING-YU is very upset. When CHI NGA returns to office, she discovers that somebody has sneaked into her room to steal her computer data. CHEUK YUK's staff asks her to visit the security room and she realizes that HO-MING has entered her room before. SHEUNG-YEE asks KWOK-LEUNG and SHEUNG-FEI to carry out investigation on CHI-NGA but the two of them do not believe that CHI NGA will commit crime. KWOK-LEUNG and SHEUNG-FEI go to drink at the pub. They end up sleeping together. KAM-FAT suggests SUN-YUNG to pursue PUI-FUN once again but SUN-YUNG rejects him instantly. After learning that SHEUNG-YEE has separated with SUN-YUNG, PUI-FUN persuades SHEUNG-YEE to reunite with SUN-YUNG.

CHI NGA performs well on the "C Coin" project and CHEUK YUK trusts her very much. He even invites her to join the company's advisory group and MING-YU is upset. SUN-YUNG overhears SHEUNG-YEE's conversation with her boss and he feels that SHEUNG-YEE values her job more than him. SHEUNG-FEI suggests SHEUNG-YEE to pretend that she is moving out in front of SUN-YUNG. However, when SHEUNG-YEE says that she will move out, SUN-YUNG has no objection at all. SHEUNG-YEE is making preparation for her promotion interview but SUN-YUNG fails to see her on the interview day. SHEUNG-YEE has overslept and her car is out of order. She doesn't know what to do and SUN-YUNG arrives to help her. CHI NGA tries to steal information from Brainman's computer database and she is shocked to discover that HO-MING has logged in to the database as well. MING-YU believes that CHI NGA is a spy. She captures her secretly to question her and torture her.

CHI NGA is dying and CHEUK YUK arrives to rescue her. MING-YU is very angry and jealous. SHEUNG-YEE is absent for the promotion interview and her colleagues tease her. SUN-YUNG cannot bear it and he starts a quarrel with them. After leaving the hospital, CHI NGA decides to disclose HO-MING's matter to CHEUK YUK for she wants to gain his trust again. After learning that CHEUK YUK is monitoring HO-MING, SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE rush to protect him. SHEUNG-YEE reveals to SUN-YUNG that HO-MING is her spy and SUN-YUNG is very disappointed with CHI NGA. HO-MING enters the hospital and CHEUK YUK promotes CHI NGA. SUN-YUNG arrives at Brainman to question CHI NGA. CHI NGA cannot bear the blame and she finally reveals her father's identity to SUN-YUNG...

SUN-YUNG shares the information with SHEUNG-YEE but he tries not to reveal CHI NGA's identity to her. CHEUK YUK sends CHI NGA a residential unit and he asks her to return to the company. CHI NGA learns that MING-YU doesn't want her to return and she decides to talk to her directly. Everybody is investing in "C Coin". Encouraged by KAM-FAT, KIU persuades all neighbors to invest in "C Coin" as well. Even though MING-YU objects it, CHEUK YUK still invests a lot in "C Coin" and MING-YU believes that he supports it fully because of CHI NGA. CHI NGA's plan is entering the final stage and she decides to leave Hong Kong afterwards. CHI NGA's mother has died and she hesitates if she should crack the system of "C Coin". In fact, CHEUK YUK has discovered everything already...

CHI NGA falls down from the cliff. CHEUK YUK reports the case to the police and asks them to send her to the hospital. SUN-YUNG cannot bear to reveal CHI NGA's real identity to CHEUK YUK and CHEUK YUK hesitates. SHEUNG-HIM reveals CHI NGA's plan to everybody. All of them try to question KAM-FAT. All the investors of "C Coin" set up a union and they try to seek help from PUI-FUN. CHEUK YUK visits PUI-FUN with the cracking program of "C Coin". He threatens PUI-FUN to recommend him to be the vice president of the committee.

People defame PUI-FUN for violating the rules to help her elder brother. CHI-YIN discovers that CHEUK YUK is very down because of CHI NGA. She therefore helps him to take care of CHI NGA at the hospital and she gets to know SHEUNG-HING. MING-YU is very jealous for CHEUK YUK devotes most of his time on CHI NGA and she goes to the hospital to threaten CHI NGA. CHI NGA doesn't want MING-YU to harm her friends and she runs away. CHEUK YUK discovers that CHI NGA has gone and he questions MING-YU.

The reporters keep making up stories on PUI-FUN. CHEUK YUK seizes the chance to suggest dismissing her from the president role. SUN-YUNG hopes to reconcile with SHEUNG-YEE and he tries to please her in every ways. The Commercial Crime Bureau starts carrying out investigation on PUI-FUN's case. SUN-YUNG is smart and he eventually finds the one who spread rumors. CHI NGA suffers from brain disease and she arrives at Peng Chau alone. She has no where to go and she is very ashamed as well. She decides to abandon herself without getting in touch with any of her friends. MING-YU always wants to have a baby but she fails. She discovers at the clinic that SHEUNG-YEE is pregnant unexpectedly. She encourages SHEUNG-YEE to cherish the baby. SHEUNG-YEE and SUN-YUNG are getting married. In order to celebrate with them, PUI-FUN invites them to dinner but she is captured by somebody on her way home. SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE find it suspicious that PUI-FUN is late. SUN-YUNG tries to look for PUI-FUN alone by car. PUI-FUN is trapped in a car filled with toxic gas and SUN-YUNG rescues her on time.

SHEUNG-YEE learns that PUI-FUN is sent to the hospital and she goes to visit her. However, she discovers that PUI-FUN is hugging SUN-YUNG tightly in the hospital. PUI-FUN's elder brother is monitored by the police while receiving treatments in the hospital. CHEUK YUK visits him and he asks CHEUK YUK to help fulfilling his wish. KWOK-LEUNG discovers from the Internet that a mysterious pretty lady has appeared in Peng Chau. They go to Peng Chau for a search but CHI NGA discovers them. SUN-YUNG visits CHI NGA's father's grave alone and he suddenly receives a call from CHI NGA. CHI-YIN meets SHEUNG-HING at the restaurant again and they chat with each other happily. PUI-FUN's elder brother commits suicide and PUI-FUN organizes a funeral for him. PUI-FUN meets her nephew YAT-SING again at the funeral. PUI-FUN hopes that her elder brother would rest in peace and she invites YAT-SING to manage their family business...

CHI NGA is captured by the police for hurting others. MING-YU stays by CHEUK YUK's side all the time, hoping that he will wake up. CHEUK YUK wakes up eventually. In order to protect CHI NGA, he lies to the police. CHI NGA is released. SUN-YUNG suggests her to stay at KWOK-LEUNG's place. SUN-YUNG distributes wedding invitations to his friends and relatives. He also invites KAM-FAT and PUI-FUN out for dinner. PUI-FUN is drunk and SUN-YUNG helps her to get to the car. PUI-FUN kisses SUN-YUNG by force. MING-YU invites SHEUNG-HIM out. She pays him to leave Hong Kong with CHI NGA. SHEUNG-FEI and KWOK-LEUNG go to practice at the boxing club. They meet CHEUK-YUK's confidant YING-BIU. YING-BIU challenges KWOK-LEUNG to a fight and KWOK-LEUNG is defeated. SHEUNG-FEI challenges YING-BIU to a fight. SHEUNG-HIM discovers that CHEUK YUK is asking CHI NGA to stay by phone message. He plays trick to make CHEUK YUK waiting at the airport lobby while he boards the plane with CHI NGA.

CHEUK YUK presents a video of the last words of CHI NGA's father and CHI NGA gets off the plane. CHEUK YUK brings CHI NGA to her father's grave and he reveals their past story. CHI NGA is confused and she believes that she has blamed him wrongly. SHEUNG-HIM discovers that CHI NGA is no longer against CHEUK YUK and he is heartbroken. He decides to stay in Hong Kong instead of going to the USA with CHI NGA and CHEUK YUK for medical treatment. SHEUNG-HING discovers that CHI-YIN is very depressed because of her family matters. He tries to cheer her up with music and CHI-YIN is touched. CHI-YIN accidentally discovers that SHEUNG-HING is married and she is very disappointed. MING-YU discovers that YING-BIU has helped CHEUK YUK to get CHI NGA back. She scolds YING-BIU angrily and YING-BIU takes the blame silently. SHEUNG-YEE and SUN-YUNG start decorating their home. SHEUNG-YEE suddenly learns that her informer has died and she receives an anonymous message arranged by MING-YU. This provides information to support that people are doing illegal things with "C Coin" and SHEUNG-YEE decides to make it public. SHEUNG-HIM learns about it and he worries that CHI NGA will be embroiled in the case. He tries to stop it and this causes SHEUNG-YEE to crash into YING-BIU with driving.

SHEUNG-YEE is arrested by the police. She explains that she has crashed into YING-BIU accidentally while chasing after SHEUNG-HIM. However, SHEUNG-HIM provides evidence to prove that he was not there. SHEUNG-YEE is detained and she is not able to attend the wedding ceremony with SUN-YUNG. CHEUK YUK accompanies CHI NGA to receive medical treatments in the USA but CHI NGA is not completely ready to accept him. CHEUK YUK returns to Hong Kong and he meets up with MING-YU. Out of anger, MING-YU says that she wants a divorce but CHEUK YUK agrees. YING-BIU is sad to learn that CHEUK YUK will divorce MING-YU. He tries to air his grievances to a netfriend. He dates the netfriend and discovers that this is SHEUNG-FEI. KAM-FAT is being scolded by CHEUK YUK and he decides to resign. SHEUNG-YEE is sued for careless driving. Since the term of imprisonment is very short, SUN-YUNG tries not to appeal for this might increase the term of imprisonment. SHEUNG-YEE loses her job. She cannot accept imprisonment and she cannot forgive SUN-YUNG.

SHEUNG-YEE has a miscarriage in the prison. Her mother SAU-KUEN is shocked to learn about the news. She has a stroke and is sent to the hospital. After divorcing MING-YU, CHEUK YUK leaves and sets up a new company. MING-YU tries to keep the staff with high pay. YING-BIU supports MING-YU and he stays. SHEUNG-YEE enters Brainman after releasing from the prison and she becomes MING-YU's assistant. MING-YU and SHEUNG-YEE go to the Art Museum together. They meet PUI-FUN and her cousin YAT-SING. YAT-SING is attracted by SHEUNG-YEE. CHI NGA learns from KWOK-LEUNG that SHEUNG-YEE has joined Brainman and she is worried for SUN-YUNG. After separating with SHEUNG-YEE, SUN-YUNG resorts to drink all the time. With the help of CHI-YIN, SHEUNG-HING starts working at her farm.
