Chiu-Yung intends to grab Brother Hate's ledger book from Pui Lat's hands, seeking to help get his charge withdrawn, but is found out by Pui Lat, who severely beats him. Yi-Faye runs into his elder son, Tsui Siu-Tin, who sings for a living. Learning that his son ignored study for singing, Yi-Faye becomes furious, and he also regrets abandoning his wife and sons for his dream pursuit of music, not wanting his son to repeat his mistakes. After Chiu-Yung is released from jail, he has a disagreement with King-Chi and the others regarding employee promotions. In order to achieve her goal, King-Chi tries to seduce Chiu-Yung, instead, she irritates him when she mentions about selling Tsa-Chin's store. Chiu-Yung surprisingly sees that his own daughter and Ying Hei have developed a deep relationship, and he himself turns into a "step-father", so he can't help feeling aggrieved. Siu-Tin becomes Chin Chow's spokesperson, but Yi-Faye believes that King-Chi is just being contrary. To get back at her, Yi-Faye exploits a radio program to bad-mouth Tai Ying's new property, Ying Town.
