A shop assistant opens up for the day in “O’Leary’s Dry Cleaners” and lets in the first day’s customer. But there is more hanging on the rack than the coats and evening wear today. Namely one very dead dry-cleaning owner/operator, Irene O’Leary.

A man is found dead buried up to his neck in the sand. It looks like a beach party game gone wrong. Another man is found dead, badly decomposed in his bed.
S01:E03 - Cat and Mouse
A paraplegic is beaten to death in his home and Tessa and Steve connect the murder to other unsolved murders which have recently occurred.
S01:E04 - Dead Clean
Murder strikes a local community with a series of young women found dead with their bodies scrubbed clean. The killer leaves gardenias as a calling card.

Robin Cochrane is a celebrity sportsman loved by the public and poisoned by one of his family. Tessa and Steve uncover the private side of Robin Cochrane which is far removed from his public persona.

Abel Jago sits dead in an armchair before his valuable toy railway, on which the train of cars make their rounds. The railway engineer left a letter to his wife Ellie before committing suicide

an ex-rock star is found dead surrounded by candles and draped in a purple robe. His body has been kept for a week, bathed and cared for in a barn by three sisters until discovered by a neighbour.

A former star footballer is found dead in the lift of a publicity building owned by Anita Black. Anita is successful, attractive and now missing.

A woman in white runs screaming through a graveyard. The woman is Lucy Balzan, her husband is dead, allegedly pushed after walking in on thieves robbing the house of its heirlooms.

Steve and Tessa investigate the death of a woman found in an area notorious for prostitutes. When they learn the woman was a pregnant nun and not a prostitute, their investigation takes a new turn.

A mummified body is found in an empty house. It is identified as Karen Diskin, who was missing presumed murdered two years ago.

The brutal murder of a video store owner initially appears to be linked to a protest demonstration until other suspects emerge.

Tessa suspects an apparent suicide is really an elaborate scam designed to cover a woman's disappearance.
