Another compensation case took place at a diamond processing plant in the same building. MA HO-TIN, diamond processing plant boss, claims HK$50 million worth of diamonds had been stolen. He then tells CHEUNG TUNG his wife KWAN-KWAN liaised with some guy by the name of CHAN FAI to steal diamonds from the safety box. KWAN-KWAN is arrested. She refuses to cooperate with the police. CHAN FAI then comes to quarrel with HO-TIN. He shows documentary proof that HO-TIN had already pawned the HK$50 million worth of diamonds. He also threatens HO-TIN to pay him HK$10 million in cash within three days. PAK escorts Gordon and his mother back to their home. He then hears Gordon singing in some room. Miss Mak falsely claims some CD is playing. Miss Mak scolds Gordon for almost blowing his cover. She reminds him absolutely not to talk or sing in front of other people to jeopardize her being compensated.
