Friday Night Lights

After a nasty article is written about her, Tami (Connie Britton) feels the repercussions of her decision to reallocate the Jumbotron funds. Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) continues to work with Smash (Gaius Charles) , but despite all his efforts, he struggles to get any college coaches to let Smash try out. Tyra (Adrianne Palicki) can’t get anyone to take her seriously as a candidate for student body president so she decides to play into the stereotypes people have for her, much to Tami's disappointment. As Grandma Saracen’s (Louanne Stephens) health continues to decline, Matt (Zach Gilford) meets with a lawyer who tells him the only way to take care of her is to become emancipated. Unable to contact his father, Matt tracks down the mother (Guest star Kim Dickens) he hasn’t seen in over 5 years. Meanwhile, Lila (Minka Kelly) struggles to get Tim (Taylor Kitsch) to apply himself and is shocked when she goes by his house and finds him...with Tyra.
