On Wednesday’s (Feb. 12) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks start off the show celebrating Black History Month by highlighting three influential black pioneers—Freddie Figgers, Bob Marley and Queen Latifah. Next, the crew is challenged by the #EverydayStruggleFam to curate their own Everyday Struggle rap criteria list. Soon after, Wayno and DJ Akademiks reveal their rap all-star starting five, which includes Drake, J. Cole. DaBaby and more. Later in the show, DJ Akademiks goes through some sale numbers from projects by Roddy Ricch, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Post Malone and Russ. Afterwards, the EDS squad puts YBN Almighty Jay ‘On The Clock.’ To close out the show, the crew reacts to YK Osiris’ statement about ‘your favorite rappers being dumb as f*ck’ and lastly, the trio mentions Jay Electronica’s tweets regarding a possible new album.
