Before the next mystery box challenge, the remaining home cooks will receive a little hometown encouragement, as they head into a savory apple dish challenge.

In the next team challenge, the remaining home cooks will take over a high-end restaurant in Los Angeles.
S05:E16 - Top 5 Compete
After the remaining home cooks are surprised with a few VIP guests in the kitchen, each home cook will create a dish inspired by one of their loved ones.
S05:E17 - Top 4 Compete
Team Challenge: The final four cooks were divided into two pairs, each home cook will create a dish inspired by one of their loved ones.
S05:E18 - Top 3 Compete
With a little help from a few other home cooks, the remaining 3 contestants will create dishes for a judging panel of renowned chefs representing all 50 states.
S05:E19 - The Finale
For the finale, the final two are required to cook a three course meal for each of the judges.
