Yonekura's car explodes, killing one of his murderers. Police inspector Ayanokoji investigates the death of screenwriter Onda.

Suemura, Yonekura's colleague, is killed by a bomb. Its fingerprints belong to former colleague Ishizawa, who's found dead, prolonging investigation.

Conan discovers that Yonekura murdered Onda, Suemura, and Ishizawa. He identifies Yonekura's last target, but can't find the bomb Yonekura planted.

Conan and friends meet a wealthy woman named Mari, who is involved in a kidnapping case.
