Lt. Dakks's new unit's training is cut short when they are all dispatched behind enemy lines to recover a compromised British Intelligence field agent.

Acting on a tip, the unit is sent to destroy a German fuel supply dump hidden deep within a mountainside cave.

As the men await orders for their next mission, letters arrive from loved ones back home causing tension between the men.

Badly injured from their last mission, the men risk all to save one of their own.
