Murray, Adam and their team travel back to Bemsbach, Papua New Guinea to recover the P-38 Lightning they found during their first mission. They must find a way to get a bulldozer up the Daru River then several miles inland to the crash site. Then it’s dismantling the plane – so it can be best reassembled – and getting it back to Murray’s shop. While they’re on the island, they’ll make their way to the western half, to the nation of Irian Jaya, to hunt down a group of Japanese fighters, including a Kawasaki Tony rumored to be there. They’ll recover it to use in the restoration of another Tony that Murray’s been working on for several years. When this one’s complete it will be priceless – the only flying Tony in the world.
