Janice Dickinson likes a challenge. And challenges don't come taller than this one - she has just six weeks to get rising model, Abbey Clancy to carve a name for herself in the modelling world Stateside. It's Abbey's dream, but has she got what it takes? The world's first supermodel descends on Abbey in her hometown of Liverpool. Merseyside has no idea what has hit them as Janice whips up a storm around town. Janice is here to find out exactly what Abbey is made of and wastes no time in throwing her straight in at the deep end with a confidence boosting exercise - a shark dive at the local aquarium
S01:E02 - Episode 2
Abbey and Janice arrive in London as Janice prepares her for life in LA. It's model boot camp, Janice Dickinson style. The pressure is on for both. Abbey is chasing her dream, and Janice hates failure. Duke, Eric and Gabe - Janice's style team - are on hand to LA Abbey up'. They waste no time in their attempts to soften her accent and teach her some essential LA etiquette. As a tabloid darling, Janice needs to teach Abbey her golden rules of handling the ever-present paparazzi and to use them to her advantage. Fireworks erupt when Janice loses her patience during her first professional photo shoot with Abbey. Can Abbey pull it together to get the all important shot?
S01:E03 - Episode 3
Abbey arrives with Janice in California and is swiftly introduced to LA life. It's apparent that LA does not have the remotest idea of who Abbey Clancy is - something which Janice needs to change. There's no time for hanging around, or failure, in Janice's world - she has a job to do and pretty quickly too if she's going to succeed. Janice kicks things off by organising an acting class for Abbey - she needs to work on her expression if she's going to make it big over here. Abbey visits some of LA's most respected model agencies to find out if they'd take her on should she move there. Abbey is surprised by their comments
S01:E04 - Episode 4
It's time for Janice to introduce Abbey to some of LA's movers and shakers. Abbey needs to learn how to network and make a name for herself in any meeting she has. Abbey has a chance encounter with the man behind the Von Dutch' and Ed Hardy' apparel and king of the designer t-shirt, Mr Christian Audigier. Christian is on the look out for models for his LA Fashion Week Ed Hardy runway show, but will Abbey make the right impression? Janice takes Abbey to a red carpet charity event, The Red Party, and teaches her how to really work the red carpet.
S01:E05 - Episode 5
With only one week to go Janice finally feels that her tenacity is paying off. The industry is starting to take notice of Abbey Clancy, including Christian Audigier who has been impressed by Abbey and wants her for his show. Janice's neck is on the line and decides that some drastic last minute preparations are in order if Abbey is to walk the runway like a true model - she sets Abbey the task of walking the Hollywood Walk of Fame wearing nothing but her bikini.
S01:E06 - Episode 6
Abbey's tuition has come to end. But has she lived up to expectations? Janice arranges for world famous photographer Peter Brown to shoot Abbey on Malibu's Surf Rider beach. He's photographed Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Charlize Theron and Paris Hilton, but what will he make of Abbey? LA Fashion Week is here and Abbey has her first runway show for celebrated designer Christian Audigier. Success could mean that Abbey will be packing her bags for more than six weeks on her next trip to LA
