Deadly Disasters

We investigate two of the most catastrophic Earthquakes to strike major, populous areas; A magnitude 7.0 earthquake that struck Haiti, as well as two Earthquakes in Mexico City.

We investigate two of the most devastating Hurricanes: Hurricane Katrina, which struck the Gulf Coast of America in 2005, and Hurricane Maria which hit Puerto Rico in 2017.

We’ll focus on one of the worst floods to ever occur along America’s Mississippi River, as well as recent catastrophic floods in New York City and from Germany’s Elbe River.
