New to Los Angeles and California, Julia knows the price of what seeking her big break in Los Angeles will cost, so she aims to find a roomie to live with.

Julia can finally start settling in... so it seems, but her past seems to come "creeping" in. Needing a connection to her faith, she goes to the synagogue and meets someone.

As Julia prepares for what she hopes will be a smooth and uneventful dinner, her hired date arrives, unaware of the impending chaos.

Julia finally scores a role! But not without dealing with degrading acting teachers and a judgmental agent who suggests cosmetic changes.
