S02:E01 - Ice Breaker

Richard Gillett and his crew shovel the Midnight Shadow out from under a foot of snow in their home port of Twillingate. Its been a terrible winter and the entire fishing season has been delayed because of it. Richard has decided to skip waiting for crab and go for winter herring. Its a risky move, as fifty nautical miles of thick-as-concrete pack ice stand between Richard and his prize, but he cant bear to sit around when theres fish to catch - he needs to get back on the water, now.
