Caillou

Mom, an avid skier, takes Caillou downhill skiing while Dad and Rosie sit in the cozy chalet and watch. At first Caillou is frightened by the ski lift, but with Mom's help, makes it down the hill just fine and has lots of fun. Afterwards, they all get together for tobogganing and a well-deserved hot chocolate. // Caillou is very excited when the family takes a trip across country by train. After the initial thrill fades and they are settled into their compartment he feels a bit confined in the small quarters. Dad takes Caillou to explore the train - there's so much to see and do. But when it's time to sleep, Caillou wonders where his bed is? // Caillou finds an old toy sailing boat Grandpa used to have when he was a kid. It's broken and dusty and Grandpa is about to throw it out, but Caillou wants him to fix it. Together they repair and paint it. Caillou can't wait to try it out at the pond in the park, but due to some stormy skies they have to invent a pond of their own...inside the house! // Mr. Hinkle invites Caillou to visit his sister's farm. Caillou spends the day picking apples and baking an apple pie, playing in the barn and making a few interesting discoveries along the way.
