Milan's (recurring guest star JESSICA CAUFFIEL) divorced mother, Lindsay (JULIA DUFFY - "Newhart"), a former model, becomes enamored with Drew and his "simple" lifestyle. Lindsay tries to live like a poor person for a week to determine if she would be willing to marry Drew and sacrifice the large alimony payments she receives. Meanwhile, Milan loans her snobbish butler, Helford (PAXTON WHITEHEAD - "Kate & Leopold"), to Mimi for a week.
