S02:E12 - The House of Discontent/The Sand Whale Strikes

The House of DiscontentOn the eve of the orange Harvest Moon, a traditional ceremony where the best crops are offered in exchange for luck, Eustace has nothing to give. The house begins terrorizing the family threatening that if they cannot grow something by midnight, they must leave. Muriel and Courage immediately begin to grow a plant but Eustace's pride makes him sabotage all their efforts. When the deadline passes, the family finds themselves locked in their own home with the heat turned up. It is up to Courage to appease the Spirit with an offering and prevent the farm and the family from melting.The Sand Whale StrikesA giant sand whale arrives at the farm demanding the return of his accordion, which Eustace's father won in a crooked card game years before. Eustace doesn't want to give it back. It has sentimental value for him. The whale warns if the accordion isn't returned in 24 hours, he will swallow Eustace and his family until he does. Eustace refuses. He and Muriel get swallowed but Courage manages to get away. Courage must return the accordion and save his family.
