S03:E12 - The Quilt Club/Swindlin' Wind

Quilt ClubWhile shopping for quilting materials, Muriel meets two women who tell her about their quilting club. Muriel excitedly asks if she can join but is told she must prove herself. She becomes obsessed with being admitted, no matter the cost. She soon finds out the cost is quite high: she will be sewn into the quilt. Courage must find a way to get her out of the club before she is quilted away forever.Swindlin' WindMuriel takes a fancy to a trinket Shirley is selling. The Farmer swindles Shirley, promising her an oil well deed in exchange for the trinket and giving her an oil bill instead. Angered, Shirley casts a curse on the Farmer and Muriel. Back at home, Courage watches in dismay as Muriel and the Farmer start swindling each other. Growing hostility drives Muriel and the Farmer to an escalating series of con games, crooked card games, mail fraud, phony phone solicitations, etc. Courage must convince Shirley that these two really don't deserve the curse and get her to remove it.
