Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (Original Japanese)

Mirai is tired of everyday life. She accompanies Yuki to a robot expo in central Tokyo. A mag. 8.0 earthquake would then change their lives forever.

In the devastating aftermath of the earthquake, Mirai and Mari attempt to find Yuuki together.

Despite being caught up in the panic caused by the aftershocks, Mirai, Yuki and Mari managed to board the ship to escape Odaiba.

Mirai is distressed by the transformation of her familiar school. Kindly treated by an elderly couple there, she changes her view of adults.

Mari's hometown, Sangenjaya, burns down. Mari falls ill. Mirai and Yuki put a plan into action to get Mari home as soon as possible.

Mirai and Yuki meet Kento. As they gradually become attracted to his serious thoughts and actions about the future, Kento is trapped in the rubble!

Yuki loses consciousness and is taken to hospital. When waking up, Mari sees Yuki in good health. The three of them start their journey home again.

Arriving in Sangenjaya, Mari desperately looks for her daughter and mother. Thanks to Mirai and Yuki's quick thinking, Mari is reunited with them.

Mirai bursts into tears every time she sees Yuki's footprints. Unable to dispel her doubts, Mirai heads home with Yuki.

Finally arrived home. Reunited with her family after a long time. Having lost so much, Mirai is left with a void in her heart and time passes.
