Robin's basketball team, the 0-54 Martin Elementary School Condors, need a coach. Despite Mac's apprehension that he would be too aggressive for the team of 10-year-olds, he agrees to turn them into winners. However, while he tries to whip the team into shape during practice, he finds Robin's wisecracking insubordination inappropriate. Mac orders Robin to run laps around the court. Robin, who feels she was singled out, quits the team and silence looms in the house. Mac explains to Polly that he took the team troublemaker -- Robin -- and made it clear that he would not allow her to undermine the team spirit.
