WING-CHEUNG has a meeting with the four big traders and those who represent Kai Hing Shing turn out to be TSEUNG CHI-YAN and PIK-WAN's brother SHING. CHI-YAN has an appointment with WING-CHEUNG, suggesting cooperating with him in private. Later on, WING-CHEUNG introduces CHI-YAN to KA-YEUNG, during which CHI-YAN offers to buy Wing Tai Lung. Having heard of KA-SING's disappearance, WING-NIN and his wife vent their grievance and anger on KA-HIN, who takes it to heart. CHI-YAN joins forces with other factories to sell the silk cloth cheap, causing Wing Tai Lung's sales to decline. Their new client Fung Shun orders 300 bolts of silk cloth with a requested delivery date of ten days, but more than ten workers of the silk factory suddenly tender their resignation. On his discovery of the problem in the silk cloth, KA-YEUNG finds out the problem stems from the water quality, believing there must be some foreigners who manipulated someone inside to do so.
