Tom and the Three Musketeers trail El Kadur to a secret meeting at the Devil's Crater.

At the Legion headquarters, Colonel Duval listens to a strange story told by the Three Musketeers.

Tom learns that Elaine has been taken to an abandoned prison in the desert.

Colonel Duval takes no action upon the important information that Elaine has given him.

The Musketeers are forced to join the firing squad that is to execute Wayne.

Elaine, aided by the Musketeers, are searching for El Maghreb the former lieutenant of El Shaitan.

Circumstances point to Duval the Legion commander, as the mysterious El Shaitan.

Standing guard over the arms, in a cave of the Devil's Crater, is El Kadur, an Arab chief.

Ali has been detailed by El Shaitan, to make sure that Wayne doesn't interfere with his plans.

Tom, disguised as an Arab, enters the secret meeting place of the Devil's Circle.
