A rescue operation on Catalina Island turns dangerous when two SAF3 members get trapped by a raging fire. Their selfless act of sacrifice will save a little girl's life but will leave the SAF3 team mourning the loss of one of their own.
S01:E02 - In Remembrance
Reeling from the loss of their leader, the SAF3 team suffers another major blow when the existence of the their program is questioned by a board of review. Until the outcome is divulged, it is business as usual and the SAF3 team pulls together to make a dramatic car rescue.
S01:E03 - Texas in a Bottle
The investigation into the SAF3 team's actions in the deadly Catalina fire carries on, while one of the team's members struggles with major burn injuries and haunting emotional scars. The remainder of the team is put into jeopardy while undertaking a dangerous underwater rescue.
S01:E04 - Under Pressure
Confident they will be reinstated after being unfairly suspended, the SAF3 team carries on with normal training activities. A drill lead by a trauma nurse in the Los Angeles forest turns into a real rescue when the team find a welder trapped in a girder fighting for his life.

Crushed by the news that the SAF3 program has been terminated, the team rallies together to overturn the decision. Anxiously awaiting the outcome of their appeal, they focus their energy on supporting one of their own as he faces a new life.
S01:E06 - I Can't Pretend
After a string of trying personal events, SAF3 is rewarded with a posthumous gift from their former leader, a new location for their headquarters. One of the team members must face her fear of heights in a dangerous cliff rescue, while another struggles to reclaim his position back on the team.

The SAF3 team are in a race against time to rescue refugees in a shipping container tossed overboard by human traffickers. The strong bond among them is further strengthened by several acts of selflessness.

While the SAF3 team rescue victims from a collapsed bomb shelter, Kacie finds herself on a search mission of a different kind - all the way across the world in Cape Town!
S01:E14 - Let It Burn
Kacie has a tough emotional time tracking down her father in Cape Town while in Malibu the SAF3 team has to deal with a raging fire in a warehouse, putting at risk two of their members' life to extract a group of trapped fire fighters.
S01:E15 - Adrift
The SAF3 helo crashes leaving three of the team seriously injured and adrift in the open ocean with no resources. The rest of the team rallies around to provide as much support as they can, holding on the tiniest thread of hope to find their friends alive.
S01:E16 - Independence Day
The 4th of July is the busiest day of the year for the SAF3 team. Their skills and courage are pushed to the limit when they respond to an off-shore explosion.
S01:E17 - Finding Home
When Eriksson goes to Cape Town to help Kacie in the search for her father, he finds himself fighting a fire in a local township. Back in Malibu, Alfonso is getting anxious about his first date since his horrific accident.
S01:E18 - Who I Am
After the Coast Guard find the wreckage of the SAF3 helo, Texas, Graciela and Jared decide to return to the scene of their near fatal crash. Alfonso must face a life altering decision that could take him away from SAF3.

A desperate rescue triggers unresolved memories for Lily, of her father's death, and the painful truth she must face to resolve them.
