Move In and 48 Hour Challenge - With “fake” contestants, our real contestants think theyʼre going to have to compete to be part of The Block. But when Scott tells them they are already contestants and that theyʼre in fact living at The Block, they couldnʼt be happier.
S06:E02 - Episode 2
48 Hr House Challenge Decider - We learn that Johnno and Trixieʼs eight year old is high functioning autistic and doesnʼt understand the concept of time. So its really hard for them to explain to him why theyʼre not with him. Theyʼre struggling not being there for him.
S06:E03 - Episode 3
Johnno and Trixie are very happy they chose the top floor apartment. Thereʼs an ATM in the foyer for the $80,000 cash they have to spend on their renovation.
S06:E04 - Episode 4
There are water leaks on levels 2 and 4 and its a fiddly and time-consuming job to find where theyʼre coming from. George and Bec want to get on with their bathroom but will have to wait.
S06:E05 - Episode 5
The twins arenʼt happy with their selection of Stegbar wardrobes and try (in vain) to change their design at the last minute. They end up liking the end result and their first design when they see it installed. Scotty looses it talking to Johnno and Trixie. He canʼt get over Trixieʼs laugh.

Matt becomes a control freak when it comes to executing his splattered paint room. But the judges arenʼt impressed with their idea and the scores tell the story.
S06:E08 - Episode 8
The teams inspect each other's first rooms and Johnno and Trixie canʼt get over their loss. Theyʼre not impressed with the finish in George and Becʼs room. Trixieʼs lost her confidence after the loss in Room 1, and she has trouble making decisions.
S06:E09 - Episode 9
Bec feels like sheʼs in over her head, with the plumbing problems in their apartment getting the better of her, George and their builder. The tradies are getting just as competitive as the contestants.
S06:E10 - Episode 10
The steam room debacle is over, everyoneʼs come clean and Johnno and Trixie will go ahead with their steam room but say they wonʼt feature it for judging.
S06:E11 - Episode 11
The waterproofing in Madi and Jarrodʼs bathrooms hasnʼt been done correctly and their tiler feels the wrath of Keith. Tiles come off and the waterproofingʼs done properly. Past contestants Rod and Tania arrive to see Alisa, who needs some stools made up for their steam room.

Johnno says that he hopes their bathroom doesnʼt win because of the misunderstanding with the steam room. The judges are so impressed with the standard of the bathrooms.

The teams inspect each others rooms and the recent events involving the fluffy roller, means everyone is saying what they really think about the finished ensuites, especially the girls when theyʼre talking about Johnno and Trixieʼs bathrooms.

Thereʼs a war brewing between George and Becʼs builder and it all starts with a carpet sample that Matt and Kim want to borrow. Johnno and Trixie go shopping and Johnno isnʼt feeling well.
S06:E16 - Episode 16
The Spacecraft screenprinting challenge is on using photos theyʼve taken. Matt and Kim are desperate for a win and Matt haggles in the shop owners to buy a piece within their $500 challenge budget.

Lysandra gets a special package from her husband on their five year wedding anniversary. George has to defend why they can afford so many trades when Matt suspects that they are underpaying their builder Tom.

It's the rush to finish master bedroom and dressing rooms and some teams donʼt get any sleep before the reveal.

On the no tools day, George and Bec get creative but wish that they only had a bedroom rather than a bathroom as well. She wants to spend as much time with Rosa as possible.

Johnno is suffering from a bit of a hangover but he soldiers on. Trixie and Madi enjoy shopping trip with a bit of beauty therapy thrown in.

Madi has a big clean out of their messy site, and spills some paint in the process. George and Bec return, their builder Tom is very happy to see them and Jarrod and George can continue their bro-mance.

The nursery (baby brain) challenge is a big ask for all the teams. The bed heads from the first challenge are causing problems for everyone, and some teams are completely changing their designs which is against the rules.

Another meeting is held to talk about noise restrictions. The only good thing to come out of the meeting is that a pool party bbq is held at the end of the day so that everyone can cool off.

Madi and Jarrod are stoked that theyʼve taken home a win and M and K are just half a point behind. J and T are a little disappointed and G and B are frustrated that not everyone used their original challenge bed head.

Its week five, moneyʼs tight and its the biggest week so far with the kitchen due, including the huge walk in pantry and bar area. Its the heart of the apartment and everyoneʼs got something special planned. But theyʼve got to head out to a challenge and no oneʼs in the mood.

Yesterdayʼs candle scandal continues.Becʼs dad buys all the candles at Becʼs store to put on her motherʼs grave. And the twins and Kim think it isnʼt fair because it's their home town.

Itʼs Trixieʼs birthday today and theyʼre hoping that celebrating will take their mind off the fact that theyʼve got no money. Theyʼre cashing in their gold coin.

24 hours before kitchen reveal and at 6am thereʼs tradesmen everywhere in everyoneʼs apartments. The girls are worried they havenʼt got the right flooring.

The morning after judging the couples are very keen to inspect each others kitchens. J and T took home their first room win. M and J like it and so do the girls.

Officially half way through the competition, its day three of living and dining room. Itʼs Lysandraʼs son Emersonʼs 3rd birthday and she Face Times him to see what presents he got.

The girls are excited cause Alisaʼs family arrive today. George dobs in Matt for making noise at 5am. M and J are powering ahead with their room but they need furniture.

Its week 6, living and dining room week. Thereʼs 32 square metres of living space to deliver which is the biggest space theyʼve had to deliver so far.

Scotty summons the judges and tips them into his plan, heʼs going to be doing things a little bit differently this week after judging, but first the teams need to finish their rooms.

After hearing the judges feedback and getting Darrenʼs and Shaynnaʼs scores, Scotty threw the teams a curve ball when he told them they have to judge each others rooms.

Bec and George struggle to decide on what kind of flooring to put in their foyer and laundry/powder room.

Keith the “Blockinator” is on the rampage. Thereʼs a leak in George and Becʼs kitchen and Bec thinks it might be coming from J and Tʼs apartment.

The CCTV cameras pick up that someone has stolen Scottyʼs motorbike from outside The Block. Keith reports it to the police and eventually the bike is returned.

The teams race to finish their apartment foyers, some are broke, some havenʼt got the energy to go on and when they hand over the rooms to the judges, it means that all the apartment interiors are complete.

George and Bec and Matt and Kim arenʼt happy that the girls won the foyer week, Week 7of the competition. The girls are so happy theyʼve won another $10,000.

Its Week 8 on The Block and day two of the Myer Window Challenge. Today they must be part of their window display and the public will judge the best window display.
S06:E46 - Episode 46
Some teams have are struggling with a lack of funds while others have plenty to spend. Madi is counting on Matt and Kim giving them $145 that they are owed.

With some rainy Melbourne weather, thereʼs not much motivation for anyone to get out of bed. Progress is very slow on the terraces, particularly on level 5.

All the teams are hoping to create something spectacular for their terraces. Trixie isnʼt happy with having to paint the fascia of the building in preparation for the gutterings being installed.

Trixie has a dig at Matt and Kim saying they donʼt have a two million dollar view like their penthouse does.

Madi struggles with the task of working in a team and her delegated role. Sheʼs been put in charge of lighting but sheʼs not happy about it.

Madi pulls a prank on Matt and Kim, placing heaps of alarm clocks all over their apartment, set to go off at different times during the night. Madi gets up to nine alarm clocks all over the apartment.

The girls go to plenty of effort for Nealeʼs arrival. Theyʼre polishing glasses, theyʼve purchased French Champagne, theyʼve gone all out.

In the lead up to delivering the two communal areas, thereʼs teams missing, on and off throughout the day.

The extra apartment is ready for renovating and as the teams wake up back at the Block theyʼre, not all that motivated for another two weeks on The Block. They meet up at the rooftop terrace.

Its Day Three of the downstairs reno and with everyone looking out for themselves thereʼs plenty of tension.

Each of the teams presents their videos that market their apartments. Trixie gets emotional editing their video, sheʼs overwhelmed by the enormity of the task.

Keith arrives with chocolates and flowers for Bec telling her he admires her for sticking up for her man. They both apologize to each other about the fight theyʼve had.

Kim opens her own stall out the front bbqing her Kimʼs Bangers. But she doesnʼt really know how to cook and ends up burning the sausages.

All the teams want the last win, and their designs prove that theyʼre seasoned renovators.

The girls donʼt want to take responsibility for the plumbing issues in their kitchen. A plan comes together up and the kitchen goes in on time and without too much fuss.

Johnno goes skydiving for his 41st birthday. Trixie lies in the middle of a paddock and says is Johnno lands on her, heʼll get lucky.

The girls are very excited that theyʼre getting a makeover. They head to Myer to meet Shelley.
