He was sent to prison at 22 for choking his pregnant girlfriend. He was sent back to prison for hurting a second girlfriend, and by 2010 Grate had 3 children with three different mothers. Then women started to disappear.
S01:E07 - Donna Perry
In Spokane three prostitutes were violently killed. Evidence suggested they'd been approached by a man wanting sex who had then used great strength to subdue and kill them.
