S02:E20 - Comings and Goings

After returning Timmy to Nancy after a weekend with Jeff, Sylvia Maitland pulls out her back and has to stay. Sylvia's presence throws the Lawrences, and especially Kate, into turmoil. In point of fact, Sylvia is deliberately delaying her departure -- -she has left her husband, and is using the Lawrence home as a sanctuary. Sylvia is stationed in Willie's room because, in the subplot, Willie has virtually been living with Salina. They decide to make it permanent by finding an apartment, and toy with the idea of making it official by marrying.
