Tanika is denied a promotion to be a detective but finds herself navigating through an undercover murder case. Meanwhile Lavelle is drenched in the world of crime and trafficking.

Tanika links the traffic stop to the undercover agents murder site and discovers Lavelle having a connection.

Tanika catches Lavelle's sister with drugs and uses the arrest to get information out of Lavelle. Lavelle is forced to make a decision that he may never be able to get out of.
