Hitting the Breaks

After a near-fatal crash, ex-racer Randy Wilcox moves his family from Atlanta to the Colorado mountains to run an inn he has inherited.

Against his better judgement but needing quick cash to pay an unexpected tax bill, Randy reluctantly calls his slimy agent Mitch to get him an endorsement deal.

Not wanting to look like a failure to his wife's disapproving parents, Randy accepts help from the townspeople to act as guests at the inn.

Randy works to find a solution when their house is flooded

Randy and Charlie become concerned when their daughter starts dating someone they don't know.

Charlie's family butler shows up after a blowup with her father. Then her mother arrives, announcing that she's left Theodore too.

A bossy guest wants Randy arrested for theft when he locks her valuable jewels in a lock-box, then forgets the lock combination.

Randy's wife and daughters are ecstatic when they get tickets to see country superstar Gretchen McBride, but Randy opts to stay behind and fix the hotel fridge.

Randy frets about his daughters growing up too fast and takes desperate and ill-advised measures to stop the town dance.
