Lost City of the Jungle

Sinister Sir Eric Hazarias (Lionel Atwell), arch warmonger, leads an expedition into Pendrang in search of meteorium 245.

A plane piloted by Tal Shan (keye Luke), Pendrang native, locates the stranded Rod Stanton and Marjorie Elmore and the two are taken to Zalabar, capitol of Pendrang.

Rod Stanton dives into the dynamited pool of Light and rescues Tal Shan from drowning. Dr. Elmore, his daughter and assistant Grebb, visit the scene in search of the Lost City.

Efforts to destroy Rod Stanton and Tal Shan in the Pendrang temple fail, as the pair flee at the first rumblings of the explosion.

Rod Stanton is rescued from the lion’s pit by his assistant Tal Shan. Discovering that a mysterious individual posing as Geoffrey London, is actually Sir Eric Hazarias.

Sir Eric believes that Rod Stanton has been tossed into the blazing pit. Stanton’s fall, however, is broken by a ledge where he discovers a tablet bearing mysterious hieroglyphics.

Rod Stanton falls on the revolving pedestal of the Glowing Goddess and is carried to safety into another chamber of the tomb.

Rod Stanton and Tal Shan, swim to shore after thier motorboat sinks. Marjorie Elmore discloses that her father, Dr. Elmore has been kidnapped, probably by Sir Eric.

Tal Shan enters the blazing House of Beggars to drag his American assistant, Rod Stanton to safety and the two begin a search for the missing Dr. Elmore.

Rod Stanton and Tal Shan board a schooner and save Marjorie Elmore from death before the mechanical firing Squad.

Tal Shan rescues Rod Stanton from the booby-trapped chamber. The American investigator’s adversaries obtain the plaque.

Indra’s constables, accompanied by Marjorie Elmore rescue Rod Stanton from the guillotine.

As the car carrying Rod Stanton and Tal Shan careens from the highway the pair leap to safety while Sir Eric’s henchmen locate the chest containing Meteorium 245.
