Lucie Manette travels to pre-revolutionary France to find her father she assumed was dead.
S01:E02 - Episode 2
Lucie appears to vouch for French émigré Charles Darnay, who is charged with high treason.
S01:E03 - Episode 3
Darney is acquitted and Mr Stryver tells Carton of his intentions regarding Lucie Manette.
S01:E04 - Episode 4
Carton reveals his true feelings to Lucie, and Barsad, makes an unwelcome reappearance.
S01:E05 - Episode 5
In London, Dr Manette suffers a relapse while, in Paris the Bastille is stormed.
S01:E06 - Episode 6
On receipt of Gabelle's letter Darnay returns to Paris during the Reign of Terror.
S01:E07 - Episode 7
Darnay is released from prison thanks to Dr Manette's influence.
S01:E08 - Episode 8
The day of Darnay's execution arrives and with Barsard's assistance, Carton visits him.
