Tokyo is suddenly hit by a massive bombing. Two young men who call themselves “Sphinx” start an epic game involving the entirety of Japan.

S01:E02 - Call & Response
A bombing hits Tokyo. Lisa learns the boys she met are behind it. As the police panic, Sphinx uploads another video.
S01:E03 - Search & Destroy
Detective Shibazaki joins the case. As he investigates, Sphinx announces a third target. Can he find the bomb in time?
S01:E04 - Break Through
Shibazaki visits Aomori for clues. Upon return, Sphinx issues a new riddle. Twelve meets runaway Lisa again.
S01:E05 - Hide & Seek
Lisa is taken to Nine and Twelve’s hideout. They disagree over her. A hacker attack hits police. An American arrives.
S01:E06 - Ready or Not
Hive from America thwarts Sphinx’s plans. Nine suspects her. Twelve worries. A new threat claiming to be Sphinx appears.
S01:E07 - Deuce
A chess puzzle appears at the airport—Hive’s challenge. Twelve prepares to counter. Shibazaki rushes in. Tensions rise.

Suspended, Shibazaki continues probing a peace group. Nine and Twelve plan to move. A package arrives for Lisa.

Nine turns himself in. He sets a bomb and makes a demand. Shibazaki confronts Mamiya, revealing Project Athena’s truth.

Hive stops Nine from reaching the press. The bomb countdown starts. In an empty Tokyo, the three look up to the sky.
