S01:E01 - Pilot
ME, MYSELF & I stars BOBBY MOYNIHAN in a comedy about the defining moments in one man’s life over three distinct periods – as a 14-year-old in 1991 (series star JACK DYLAN GRAZER), at age 40 in present day and at age 65 in 2042 (series star JOHN LARROQUETTE). As a 14-year-old boy living in Chicago in 1991, Alex was on top of the world, inventing cool things and celebrating the Bulls’ first championship, until his mom, Maggie (series star MANDELL MAUGHAN), moved them to Los Angeles, the heart of Lakers country, and married a pilot, Ron (series star BRIAN UNGER). With his new stepbrother, Justin (series star CHRISTOPHER PAUL RICHARDS), Alex needed to reinvent himself in a new school, where he meets his dream girl, Nori Sterling (series star REYLYNN CASTER). In 2017, 40-year-old Alex is an inventor/entrepreneur on top of the world until his wife leaves him and threatens to take their daughter, Abby (series star SKYLAR GRAY), with her, sending him into a tailspin that requires the help of his best friend and business partner, Darryl (series star JALEEL WHITE), to get him back on track. In 2042 at 65, Alex is a highly successful businessman who, after suffering a minor heart attack, decides he’s ready to reinvent himself once again. Alex announces he’s retiring to his adult daughter, Abby (series star KELEN COLEMAN), now the general manager of the Chicago Bulls, and he gets a surprise chance to reconnect with his childhood crush, Nori, who now goes by Eleanor (series star SHARON LAWRENCE). During these three pivotal periods, Alex always manages to find a way to move forward, handling key moments with determination, emotion and humor.
S01:E02 - The First Step
Darryl encourages mid-life Alex to get back into the dating scene following his divorce, Young Alex has trouble making friends after his embarrassing moment at the school dance, and older Alex finally has his first date with Eleanor. ALKOYA BRUNSON (Hidden Figures) recurs as Young Darryl.
S01:E03 - The Card
Young Alex gives away his most prized possession, a signed Michael Jordan rookie card, in an attempt to impress his crush, Nori. Also, mid-life Alex struggles to find the money to take his daughter, Abby, on a glamping trip with her friends, and older Alex tries to make plans for his birthday so he doesn’t have to spend it alone. ED BEGLEY, JR. recurs as Older Justin, now the Governor of California.
S01:E04 - Star Wars
Mid-life Alex is devastated when he learns that Ron showed Abby his favorite movie, Star Wars, for the first time – a moment he had been waiting for. Also, in 1991, Young Alex convinces Justin to sneak out of the house to watch Star Wars on the big screen, and in 2042, Older Alex finds himself working for Eleanor a the diner. TIA MOWRY recurs as Darryl’s wife, Wendy.
S01:E05 - Family Tree
When Mid-life Alex helps his daughter, Abby, with a family tree project, he’s tempted to find his biological father. Also, Young Alex must perform at Ron’s family reunion talent show, and Older Alex meets Older Abby’s new boyfriend.
S01:E06 - New Job
Mid-life Alex contemplates accepting a new job offer and leaving his partnership with Darryl. Also, Young Alex works with Young Darryl on an invention for his school’s Invention Convention, and Older Alex meets Eleanor’s fiancé, a contractor helping to fix his roof. TIM REID recurs as Older Darryl.
S01:E07 - Field Trip
Young Alex competes with another boy, Phil Ricozzi (guest star JUSTIN STELLA), for Nori's attention on a field trip to the planetarium. Mid-life Alex becomes friends with another dad at Abby's school – without realizing he's the guy who ruined his marriage, and Older Alex runs into a former business rival, Kelly Frasier (guest star VANESSA WILLIAMS) who he uses to make Eleanor jealous.
S01:E08 - Home Alone
Young Alex and Justin panic when they are left home alone for the first time and think someone is breaking in. Also, Mid-life Justin (recurring guest star RYAN HANSEN) notices Mid-life Alex financially struggling and asks for his help with a new business proposition. Meanwhile, Older Alex and Older Justin become emotional when they return home to sell their parents’ house.
S01:E09 - Thanksgiving
Darryl and Wendy set up Mid-life Alex on a blind date during Thanksgiving dinner. Also, Young Alex and Justin compete to impress Nori’s brother when Nori and her brother join their family for Thanksgiving, and Older Alex goes to the diner to see Eleanor on Thanksgiving Day and is surprised when Kelly shows up.
S01:E10 - Video Games
Young Alex and Justin secretly play with their Nintendo game system their parents got them for Christmas ahead of the holiday and accidentally break it. Meanwhile, Mid-life Alex continues to date Lisa (guest star SARAH BURNS), but her investment in his new invention is affecting their dating relationship. And Older Alex interferes with his daughter's career while looking for a purpose in life.
S01:E11 - Phil Ricozzi
Alex deals with his arch-nemesis, Phil Ricozzi across the three stages of his life. After Young Alex breaks up Phil and Nori, he is challenged to a fight. Meanwhile, Mid-life Phil (guest star STEPHEN RANNIZZISI) buys one of Alex’s inventions just to bury it out of spite. And Older Alex accompanies Eleanor to Phil’s funeral and gives a eulogy when no one steps up to speak.
S01:E12 - The Breakup
Young Alex runs against Nori for Student Council President. Mid-life Alex tries to break up with his girlfriend Lisa, but Darryl asks him to wait until after Wendy’s birthday party. And Older Alex gets upset when he finds out that Abby has quit her job as the GM of the Bulls.
S01:E13 - There She Goes
Young Alex attempts to move on from his crush on Nori by inviting his lab partner, Julia (guest star CREE CICCHINO) to the dance. When Sarah visits for Abby’s birthday party, Mid-life Alex entertains the prospect of getting back together with his ex-wife Sarah (guest star ALLISON TOLMAN) when she visits for Abby’s birthday party. And Older Alex makes one last ditch effort for Eleanor when she announces she’s leaving Los Angeles with her fiancé on the series finale.
