Chinami overhears Kotaro telling Sonomi that he is only interested in Chinami's ability and nothing more. She causes a huge electrical breakdown throughout the city.

Chinami loses her ability to emit EM rays and is actually happy that she is able to buy a cell phone and walk in an electronic store without causing mayhem.

After a day of free time on a class trip, Chinami discovers that her electromagnetic ability is slowly returning; she refuses to tell Kotaro about it.
