DCU: Deep Crime Unit

15 years after his father’s violent death during an explosion at sea, Haruki Senoh joins DCU, a team of elite crimefighting divers led by Captain Niina, the man who saved his life.

A violent murder rocks the small fishing town of Kita-Noto to its core: local fisherman and anti-poaching activist Ryuhei Shimada has been brutally slain with a giant fishhook.

Sanchez’s true identity is revealed. He is in fact Joan Lopez, a dangerous bomber and member of Black Butterfly, a renowned international terrorist organization.

The team is devastated, and the situation is made worse when the DCU is withdrawn from the case. However, this doesn’t stop the team members conducting their own investigations.

The DCU are called to Yokohama Pier, where the body of a woman has washed up. evidence connect the water inside her lungs and the aquarium the dead woman’s fiancé was working for.

Senoh discovers that his dad worked on a device that could remotely control all kinds of vehicles. Disturbingly, it seems he was going to sell it to terrorists.

The DCU team are working undercover at a hotel when they become the target of a mass assassination attempt, which they only just evade.

The G20 summit in Tokyo is looming and the DCU need to get Dr Senoh’s device to a place of safety before it gets into the wrong hands.
