Lin Li, a creative director at a beauty company, is often seen as a strong-willed career woman but she does have a vulnerable side.

Lin Li's daughter Si Yuan finds out that her father is having an affair with tuition teacher Yu Ting. Unable to forgive her father, Si Yuan wrecks Yu Ting’s laptop.

Si Yuan runs away from home, seeking refuge at fellow netizen Dong Sheng’s friend’s home. Chen Shi and Lin Li goes to places frequented by Si Yuan but they can’t find her.
