In training a new recruit, Rio learns of the power of one of her cards.

A ghost spreads bad luck within the casino. As she takes refuge in the body of a fellow employee, Rio finds an unusual "cure."

Rio and Rina become re-acquainted with each other as Rio introduces her to other staff members.

Howard sends the trio to work at the Sky Resort casino situated at the top of a mountain. The three meet the resort's dealer--a robot.

Howard informs the group that Cartia has challenged Rio to a Gate Battle--with Howard Resort on the line.

Howard reveals another Gate Battle will take place, despite Rio's being exhausted from the last battle.

Despite being told to rest, Rio goes in search of a missing Rina, and is shocked to discover she is working under Cartia.

Cartia gains control of the Howard Resort, renaming it the Goltschmidt Kingdom, leaving Howard with only the Sky Resort.

Joker challenges Rio to a game of blackjack, with unexpected results.

Rio and her friends attempt to win back the resort. Howard talks to the Joker, who reveals her motive for the deception.

Identities are revealed to Rina and Rio, good fortune is rolled out, and life returns to normal. Almost.

Truly strange visitors meet with old friends, as transformations are undone.
