Kate Humble's Coastal Britain

Kate Humble embarks on an 11-mile walk on Exmoor’s South West Coast Path, starting at Porlock Weir and visiting St Bueno's parish church, where she uncovers its dark history.

Kate takes a 15-mile clifftop walk in North Yorkshire, starting 300 feet above Robin Hood's Bay. She descends to the fishing village and meets local archaeologist Maria.

Kate walks 11 miles of Suffolk's rapidly eroding coastline, from Dunwich Heath to the submerged village of Dunwich. She also visits a wildlife-rich freshwater reedbed.

Kate walks 13 miles of Yorkshire coastline, starting above Staithes. She birdwatches, visits Runswick Bay, and joins a rescue boat crew, encountering a pod of bottlenose dolphins.

In the series finale, Kate walks 12 miles of Suffolk's shingle coast from Minsmere Nature Reserve past Sizewell B power station, meeting a beachcombing expert along the way.
