Ning Yi offers Lu Hongti a temporary hiding place from his wife. Guard Geng chooses a location for the Zhu restaurant and Ning Yi reveals that Nie Yunzuh will be the boss.

Su Wenxing finds out that Wu Qihao borrowed money from the bank; Qin Lao gives Ning Yi an unexpected proposal, but Ning Yi politely declines the offer.

The Su family's business flourishes because of Ning Yi and Su Taner. Wu Qihao receives a deadline from the bank to repay the loan, so he asks Song Duwei to help him.

Ning Yi intends to learn martial arts from Lu Hongti, but Lu Hongti suddenly disappears. Su Taner's mother asks her to give birth to a grandchild.

Ning Yi and Su Taner decide to visit Linan and look for Ziluohai. However, the gates are already closed. At night, they discover a group of people fighting in the forest.

Qin Siyuan admits to his crimes and the emperor saves him from the death penalty. Ning Yi is suspicious of Lou Shuwan. At night, a group of bandits invade Linan city.

While Ning Yi and his brother discuss a grand plan, some bandits break into the city and create havoc.

Bao Wenhan orders Ning Yi to hand over their vice general to the bandits. Ning Yi, however, sits enjoying a bowl of noodles while ignoring him and his troop.

Su Zhongkan and Su Wenxing set out to find Su Taner and Liheng. However, their true intentions are far from saving people.
