PJ, assisting in an appendectomy, breaks the fourth wall. She later examines Mrs. Komolofe, a pregnant widow, while Dr. Chuks gives PJ a hard time about it.

Meanwhile, the gang tries to treat a head trauma patient, Paul, who has forgotten a lot about his life and can't believe he is Nigerian.

It's nighttime and PJ and Jasmine are on call. It's chaotic. They have to deliver a patient's baby without electricity. PJ shines and makes the best of a bad situation.
S01:E04 - Meet the Parents - Birthday Blues
We meet PJ's siblings who tell her that her parents (also in attendance) are getting divorced.
S01:E05 - The Investigation - Taking the Lead
The gang tries to solve the mystery of Jibril Lawal, a patient who has been urinating blood. Rotimi and Nurse Chinwe have an explosive argument.

A thirteen-year-old boy, John Bello is brought into the hospital by his mother, Busola. He looks bruised and battered.

In a flashback scene, PJ tells Jasmine about her parents' divorce and the gang tries to diagnose Mr. Olutola who has been experiencing seizures.
S01:E08 - I Feel It in My Fingers - These Things Happen
PJ assists Dr. Chuks on an HIV patient's appendectomy. Blood splatters into her eyes, and Rotimi shares personal stories about his mother and his tardiness.
S01:E09 - I Saw It in a Dream - Patients Can Lie!
At the lab with Sesan, PJ does a rapid HIV test, it is negative. She is relieved. The gang diagnoses and treats a 72-year-old woman with a history of amnesia.
S01:E10 - Opening Up - the Broken MC
The Mr. Ajomale saga continues as PJ and Rotimi share some alone time, discussing Mr. Ajomale, IELTS, PLAB, leaving Nigeria, and the HIV/Hep C scare.
S01:E11 - Breath Again - Battle Lines
Jasmine's dental house officer friend, Desola Dairo aka DD comes to hang out in the call room. PJ isn't particularly a fan but she tolerates her nonetheless.
S01:E12 - Among Us - the Solo Dive
Nurse Chinwe is in a deadly accident on call night. With no surgeons available, Rotimi and PJ perform surgery guided by Dr. Chuks over the phone.
S01:E13 - A Proper Cluster Fudge - Chapman and Sangria
A school building collapses, throwing the ER into chaos. Off-duty doctors are called in as the staff scramble to save lives amid the crisis.
