Dead Last

Three struggling rock musicians unwittingly sign onto the strangest gig of their lives: to help desperate spirits resolve their unfinished business on earth. In their first mission, they help a ghost by buying a ring he wanted to give his wife. The band mates also encounter the spirit of a depression-era convict who was killed on his way to the state border.

While in New York City, the bandmates cope with hundreds of ghosts demanding their help, including the spirit of a man who once mugged Dennis and now wants forgiveness. Scotty helps another phantom by retrieving a bomb that was hidden in a video box.

On a flight to California, Scotty and his sister help land the airplane safely after a ghost warns them that it could crash. While driving across the country, Jane and Vaughn help a ghost find her long-lost love.

While Vaughn, posing as a federal agent, becomes involved with a dangerous Mafia boss, Scotty follows clues for the ghost of a 1970s policeman that lead him to the same mobster. The police save the guys. Jane helps the spirit of a wrongly persecuted hockey player clear his reputation.

With the aid of a ghost doctor, Scotty and Jane operate on Dennis to save his life. Vaughn helps the ghosts of dead sorority girls get to the afterlife.

In a small Texas town, Vaughn and Jane uncover a conspiracy to hide the fact that the local sheriff is responsible for a teenager's death.

Jane is stalked by the love-struck ghost of an accident victim, causing problems with her love life. She gets rid of the spirit by stalking him in return. Vaughn and Scotty help a bounty hunter ghost by delivering a subpoena to a dangerous criminal.

While helping a murder victim, Scotty and Jane are mistakenly arrested. Vaughn and the dead man's ghost solve the murder mystery to free them.

In Laughlin, Nevada, Vaughn helps the spirit of a naked suicide victim get to the afterlife, and Scotty meets a gambling ghost who helps him win.

In New Jersey, Jane visits her father and awful stepmother and protects them from the vengeful ghost of her stepmother's deceased daughter. In order to help a ghost who cannot speak, Scotty plays charades with her.

Vaughn hopes that the band will get a recording contract after staying overnight in a major producer's haunted mansion. But the band mates learn that the executive is a murderer and must flee before he kills them.

Jealous Vaughn encounters his former bandmate, who has become a star. But when his friend is murdered by a professor seeking the amulet, Vaughn and the others narrowly escape death themselves.
