As the 12 remaining bachelorettes settle into their Tuscan villa, Borghese's first one-on-one date goes to Lisa, who received the "first impression" rose and the two-carat diamond earrings; the other women go insane with jealousy when they find out about the gifts. He takes Lisa to Villa Borghese, the Central Park of Rome, for a full day of getting to know each other. The rest of the women are split into two group dates with Borghese: Half embark on a historic tour of Rome via Italian scooters, while the other bachelorettes are flown in helicopters to the Italian Mediterranean for a wild beach party. At the beach, a game of bikini tackle football breaks out. One bachelorette, Kim, has a little too much to drink in the hot sun and becomes the first woman in the history of the show to embarrass herself by passing out in front of the Bachelor. As the pressure to get a rose heats up, another bachelorette, Erica, has an emotional breakdown, while Lisa is verbally attacked by some jealous women and breaks into tears. And the competition goes to a whole new level when two others secretly sneak into the prince's bedroom to await his return. At the rose ceremony, Borghese sends three women home heartbroken, as he narrows the field from 12 bachelorettes to nine.
