Three Brits head to a flea market in Villeurbanne in suburban Lyon, hoping to find items that’ll make loads of money on their selling day in Brighton. They’ve each got 800 euros to spend and expert advice from collectables guru Mark Franks. Once home they get a day to upcycle their purchases before the come to sell everything on the south coast. Whoever makes the most money, wins everyone’s earnings. Philippa and Shabana go head-to-head upcycling garden furniture with bright seaside colours – and Harry gives a gilt frame a new lease of life by turning it into a chalk board.
