Everyone who buys a ticket to their favourite sports team play is having a good time thanks to several other teams they’ll likely never see. At the Air Canada Centre the kitchen team services the best restaurant in the city, the Platinum Lounge. The security team screens the fans and the players. The ticketing team uses a bar code scanner on every ticket to track stolen seats. The event team is responsible for entertaining fans every second the basketball team isn’t. Of course the hockey side has it easier, they just trot out the Zamboni. This show explores the technology behind the game, including the building of Zambonis, the construction of a basketball court and the design of a big league arena.
