After losing on a TV talent show, four young women decide to form a band, but not before taking revenge on a sleazy impostor who passed himself off as a record A&R man.

Flo must choose between living with her boyfriend or moving in with the band in a shabby former nightclub.

The women's unplanned housewarming party turns into a wild blowout, landing them in jail and nearly causing them to miss a late-night recording session.

The band's first gig comes up short because of performance anxiety. Neve freaks out after an appearance by her ex-boyfriend, which leads to an ex-lovers' quarrel.

Charlie deals with a high-maintenance boyfriend while Neve hooks up with a musician from another band, who offers the women a gig opening for them.

Charlie's debt-ridden past catches up with her in the form of her parents, a bailiff and a welfare official. Flo fills in for Charlie at job interviews. Tasha dresses up in a Lebanese costume.

The band is offered a gig at a wedding, not knowing that the bride is Tasha's mother.

The plan to get a good night's sleep backfires when three of them sneak boyfriends into the flat, but only one of them winds up getting any action.

After Neve accidentally makes out with a female journalist, she considers becoming a lesbian. Charlie is the target of a stalker, but when Flo confronts the man he turns his interest to her.

Flo decides she needs a “bad girl” rock 'n' roll persona, but the rest of the band doesn't take her seriously. When the girls play a session for a London radio station, Flo cheats on Jason.

The band tries to impress a music impresario by playing a guerilla gig in his house, but the performance doesn't go as planned.

The women audition for a music manager, giving a great performance, but he's only interested in signing one of them, which leads to a big argument.
