As outsiders and insiders begin to gather on the island, and personal lives grow increasingly complex, the first casualties of the virus appear.

As a state ordered pandemic commissioner takes charge of the island, cracks in the islanders' relationships begin to show.

As Mikkel loses his handle on the island and people ignore the restrictions, events begin to spiral out of control.

After Evelin confesses her pregnancy, she is found to be resistant to the virus, which leads her to a mainland hospital and a shocking discovery.

After a forced evacuation of the island by the military, tragedy strikes many of the inhabitants and their families as they try to avoid detention.
