San Francisco, USA, five minutes before it happened: Fragments of news reports show a future world as it adopts H+, a radical new way to be connected to information and one another through only one's thoughts via a high-tech implant. While the breakthrough is hotly anticipated by the masses, some malcontents do not eagerly adopt it. As a couple parks in an underground airport garage, the husband, Lee, surreptitiously watches a football game on his H+, upsetting his wife, Julie, who wants him to drive safely. Their domestic squabble is interrupted by a bizarre spectacle that throws their world into chaos.

S01:E01 - Driving Under
San Francisco, USA, five minutes before it happened: Fragments of news reports show a future world as it adopts H+, a radical new way to be connected to information and one another through only one's thoughts via a high-tech implant. While the breakthrough is hotly anticipated by the masses, some malcontents do not eagerly adopt it. S01:E02 - On Their Level
San Francisco, USA, 15 seconds after it happened: Julie and Lee stand shocked at the fallen people surrounding them in the parking garage before Lee risks a similar fate by rushing to their aid. A mysterious bearded man in glasses, Kenneth, appears and leads a small group down to Level 6, where he insists they're safe. But some in the group are skeptical of their hero, particularly his theory for what has just happened.
S01:E03 - Prophetess
Helsinki, Finland, seven years before it happened: A young man, Topi, enters a bar to meet a woman named Manta, with whom he has chatted online. Manta plays mysterious, giving Topi a hard time, but Topi may have secrets of his own.
S01:E04 - Airport Security
San Francisco, USA, one minute after it happened: With a small group from Level 6 of the parking structure, Kenneth takes Lee's body away from the sprinklers to a van, hoping to save him.
S01:E05 - A Large Family
Mumbai, India, five months before it happened: Hard-charging technology executive Breanna and her husband, Connal, both of whom are Irish, meet with a doctor, Gurveer, and a young woman, Leena, who are both Indian, to arrange a surrogate pregnancy. When the introductory meeting turns into something more like an interrogation and Breanna leaves to continue a work call on her H+, Connal tries to make a more human connection.
S01:E06 - Voci Dal Salud
Oria, Italy, two years after it happened: In a desolate village, Matteo tries to help a man injured in an accident, but Matteo realizes that getting the medicine he needs will not be easy.
S01:E07 - Implanted
Mumbai, India, five months before it happened: Gurveer prepares to implant H+ in Leena so the biological parents can track her pregnancy from abroad. Leena anxiously asks many questions about the process. Gurveer, who reveals that his own body is not compatible with H+, tells her she is lucky ... although something else is commanding his attention.
S01:E08 - Makeshift Engineering
San Francisco, USA, 45 minutes after it happened: Over the objections of Francesca, a soon-to-be board-certified neurologist who can't believe what she's seeing, Kenneth races to save Lee's life with spare wiring and circuit boards.
S01:E09 - The Snow Viper
Helsinki, Finland, seven years before it happened: Now in a physical relationship with Manta, Topi goes to a crime scene that is technically out of his office's jurisdiction. His boss holds him back, but a look at the victim offers a tantalizing clue.
S01:E10 - Out
San Francisco, USA, 50 minutes after it happened: Kenneth tells the small group to plan for a week below ground. When he tries to stop an angry survivor from leaving, Kenneth is accused of being a terrorist. Just as he is craving good news, he's pulled away to examine Lee, whose condition has changed.
S01:E11 - Manta
Helsinki, Finland, seven years before it happened: Sharing a growing intimacy, Topi and Manta go on a hike, but Manta won't reveal anything about a particular subject.
S01:E12 - Searching Over
San Francisco, USA, 20 hours after it happened: In a quiet moment, Francesca asks Kenneth for the truth. How does he know so much about H+? Meanwhile, a group of survivors searches for Kenneth.
S01:E13 - Questions
Portland, Oregon, USA, five years before it happened: After pitching her new software venture to a corporate board, Breanna privately meets with a younger, clean-shaven Kenneth to offer an opportunity.
S01:E14 - The Gates
San Vito, Italy, two years after it happened: Someone with an interface observes Matteo outside the gates of a base. Later, Matteo returns home and has a flash of insight.
S01:E15 - Their Connection
Mumbai, India, three months before it happened: In a conference with Dr. Gurveer, Leena is asked to adjust her sleep schedule to match Breanna's work demands. Strangely, Gurveer's attention seems divided.
S01:E16 - From Above
San Francisco, USA, two days after it happened: Brian, a young boy, finds his mother in the parking structure and describes the chaotic world above. Kenneth gives him a special assignment.
S01:E17 - Salmiakki
Helsinki, Finland, seven years before it happened: Drunken Topi stumbles onto a fragment of conversation online and is suddenly messaged by Manta, whom he meets at their bar for a surprising exchange.
S01:E18 - Advent
Oria, Italy, two years after it happened: After experiencing a vision, Matteo is awoken from his trance by someone he has been close to but never met, standing in the rain.
S01:E19 - 7500 Kilometers
Mumbai, India, one month before it happened: Through H+, Connal shows Leena more personal parts of his life as their connection grows deeper.
S01:E20 - Partenza
Oria, Italy, two years after it happened: As Matteo gasses up his car for a trip that will take a week, he prepares a young man to lead when he's gone ... and makes other preparations with his passenger.
