Adam Evans (a.k.a. "Rubberband Man") is on the verge of a big break in the music industry after A.J. McLean of the "Backstreet Boys" encourages a record company executive to sign Adam to a deal. But Adam's untalented rival, the powerful shape-shifting Replikon, kidnaps A.J. to assume his identity and threatens to wreck the deal for Adam. Once again, Static tries to protect Rubberband Man as he searches for the truth in order to save Adam's career.
