Tayo is struggling to become a good driver. One day, a bus breaks down and Tayo is chosen as the substitute. Tayo makes mistake after mistake and becomes discouraged.

After hearing Rogi’s ghost story, Lani has a nightmare and grows scared of the dark. The next day, she mistakes Big for the ghost car.

Tayo and Rogi argue and leave without making up. That day, a new truck causes a major traffic jam by spilling chickens in the middle of downtown.

A new red bus named Gani joins the garage, built with the memory chip of veteran bus Wondie. Tayo happily welcomes Gani and shows him around.

Tayo envies Rogi’s picnic and lies about being sick to skip work. He gives his route to Gani and sneaks off to picnic with Speedy and Toto.

Nuri promises to watch Fireball the Superhero with the buses but picks up a suspicious passenger on her way to the garage after a long day of helping others.

The young buses are excited when Cito and Hana go out of town—they finally get to stay up late and play all night without being told to sleep.
T01:C09 - S01:E09 - Joey, the Magician / Frank and Alice Are Awesome!
Joey the Magician waits at stop 17 for Tayo to take him to the garage, but unaware of this, Tayo skips the stop and heads back early.
T01:C10 - S01:E10 - Lani’s Misunderstanding / Make Up, Frank and Alice
Cito is proud of Lani for always doing her best, but Lani misunderstands him and grows upset—especially after he scolds her for failing her exam.
T01:C11 - S01:E11 - Tayo’s Space Adventure / Speeding Is Dangerous
After watching a meteor shower, Tayo dreams of space travel. Hana equips him with rockets, and he soon meets Princess Ray, who's fleeing from a space pirate.
T01:C12 - S01:E12 - Lani’s Day Off / My Job’s the Hardest
Lani leaves early in the morning for a picnic on her day off. She meets a broken-down preschool bus on the way and offers to pick up the preschoolers instead of the bus.

A truck sneezes exhaust on Gani, who then sees it get a painful shot. Scared, Gani runs off the next day when he hears the young buses need shots too.
